Short, but rough hair brown belgian shepherds are born occasionally in malinois litters. These can be  breed with laekenois via exceptional approval and register the puppies as laekenois.

I acquired first such puppy bitch at spring 2003 and co-located Ihme for possible breeding use. Our laekenois breeding will be small scale, but we intend to bring this less popular belgian shepherd variant to the real alternative for working dog enthusiasts.
